“DREAM BIG, START YOUNG” A SESSION ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

On 21st day of March 2025, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre and the Entrepreneurship Development Club of MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur, organized a session on entrepreneurship development titled "Dream Big, Start Young." The session commenced at 11:00 AM with a warm welcome by Dr. Princy Francis, IEDC Coordinator, who also introduced the resource person, Mr. Vijin, Indrustry Extension Officer, Mathilakam Block. Mr. Vijin conducted an insightful session, providing valuable information about the functioning of the ED Club, the importance of start-ups, and the process of Udyam registration and K-SWIFT registration. He also elaborated on various funding sources, types of licenses required for businesses, and several government schemes designed to encourage entrepreneurship. The session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 82 students from different academic streams. It was highly interactive and engaging, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship among the students. Mr. Vijin's motivational approach positively influenced the participants, encouraging them to explore entrepreneurial opportunities. Overall, the programme was a great success, equipping students with crucial knowledge and inspiring them to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
