ANTI-DRUG AWARENESS SESSION FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS

The College Protection Group and NSS Units 53 & 95 of MES Asmabi College, P Vemballur, organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Session for parents and students to educate them about the dangers of drug abuse and preventive measures. The session aimed to create awareness, instill resilience, and promote a drug-free environment among students and their families.. Dr. Monsy Edward presented an informative session on the psychological effects of drug abuse. He elaborated on how addiction affects mental health, academic performance, and social relationships. He also provided practical strategies for early detection and intervention. The session included an interactive Q&A segment, where students and parents engaged with the resource persons to clarify their concerns and gain deeper insights into drug prevention strategies.
