National Cleanliness Day observation
On 3rd February 2025, the Bhoomitrasena Club members actively participated in the National Cleanliness Day celebration by organizing a cleaning drive at the MCF facility near Asmabi College. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the dedicated members of the Haritha Karma Sena, emphasizing the importance of environmental hygiene and sustainability.
The event began with an awareness session on waste management and cleanliness, highlighting the significance of maintaining a pollution-free environment. The volunteers then engaged in an extensive cleaning process, collecting waste, segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials, and ensuring proper disposal of collected debris. The participation of Haritha Karma Sena members provided valuable guidance on effective waste disposal techniques and recycling practices, making the event highly informative and impactful. Their expertise helped in efficiently handling the waste materials and educating the volunteers on sustainable waste management methods.
The cleaning drive was a resounding success, reinforcing the commitment of Bhoomitrasena Club members to environmental conservation. It also served as a motivation for students and the community to actively contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
