Participation Report in Thrissur Cluster IEDC Student Leads Residential Camp on 7-8 March 2025

The Thrissur Cluster IEDC Residential Camp, organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, was held on March 7-8, 2025. The event brought together over 100 student leads from various institutions to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sunitha C, Principal of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurial skills in today’s dynamic environment. Mr. Prasanth K Prasad, Director of Operations at Exodyne, delivered an insightful session focusing on operational strategies for startups. The camp also featured sessions by eminent speakers like Mr. Bergin S Russel, Head of Academic Entrepreneurship Development at Kerala Startup Mission, who spoke on transforming ideas into startups, and Mr. Aakash M K, CEO and Co-Founder of Growthmak, who shared his entrepreneurial journey.

Participants from MES Asmabi College, including Dr. Princy Francis (IEDC Nodal Officer), Aparna Raj (BBA Honours), Anaswara S (B.Sc. Aquaculture), and Gopika T (B.Sc. Aquaculture), actively engaged in the sessions and networking activities. The program also included a keynote by Sinan Sulaiman, Chief Social Officer of IEDC VAST, on the topic "The Right Time for a Startup". Various interactive sessions, networking activities, and cultural programs enriched the camp experience. The event concluded with a valedictory session acknowledging the contributions of speakers, participants, and organizers. The camp successfully provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain practical insights, network with industry experts, and develop their entrepreneurial skills under the coordination of Mr Anil, IEDC Nodel Officer, Vidhya Academy of Science and Technology, Thalakottukara, Thrissur.
