Karkkidakamaasaacharanam 2024

PG & Research Dept. of Botany in association with Bhoomitrasena club and Department of Botany conducted various programmes as a part of ‘karkkidakamaasacharam 2023’ on 6th August 2024. On 6th August 9.30 to 12.30 pm, students prepared ‘karkkidakakanji’ and served the same to the staff of college and to the students. Principal inaugurated the function. An exhibition of ‘Dhaspushpam’ and various edible leaves which were commonly used in houses during the month of karkkidaka was also conducted.

A quiz based on the story of ‘Ramayana’ was organized at 1.30 pm in association with Department of Malayalam. Many students participated in the programme. Smt. Liji T and Remya Jayan C, Assistant Professors of Malayalam Department were the quiz masters. Swathy Surendran and Aparna SS of I BSc Aquaculture bagged the first prize. Dr. Jaisy David, HOD of Malayalam Department handed over the prize to students.
