Report of IEDC Orientation Program "Initiate," on August 5, 2024

The IEDC Orientation Program, titled "Initiate," was successfully conducted on Friday, August 5, 2024, at 10:30 AM in the Seminar Hall of MES Asmabi College. Organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre, the event aimed to welcome and inspire participants. The program began with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Princy Francis, the IEDC Nodal Officer. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Reena Muhammed, the college principal, and the keynote address was presented by Dr. A Biju, former principal of the institution. A technical session, led by IEDC student leaders Mr. Muhammed Shiyaf M.C. and Mr. Al Ameen N., provided valuable insights into entrepreneurial development.

The program also included a discussion on significant topics, such as the status of department students with entrepreneurial initiatives, student registration in IEDC, fund generation strategies, and IEDC activities. The event concluded with a felicitation by Dr. Sanad Sadanand, the College Staff Secretary. This orientation successfully encouraged innovation, entrepreneurship, and active participation among students and faculty members, setting a positive tone for the upcoming year at the IEDC.
