Riparian Forest for Fish, Rivers and People towards “ecological management of rivers”

This is to propagate the requisite of “Ecological Restoration and management of the Riparian forests across the Western Ghats”. Various scientists, researchers, local people and community organizations presented their views on various rivers across the Kerala part of the Western Ghats. The event was in collaboration with the Department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries, University of Kerala, Western Ghats Hornbill Foundation, CEtC & Research Department of Botany MES Asmabi College, Fish Migration Foundation, Society for Ecorestoration (SER). Program was inaugurated by Dr. TV Sajeev, Senior scientist and registrar, at Kerala Forest Research Institute.
