World Suicide Prevention Awareness Day Observation September 2022

As part of Day Observation of World Suicide Prevention, Mental health club, Department of Psychology and counselling cell has jointly organized an awareness talk and a mime competition, at college Auditorium on 30th September 2022. The program was inaugurated by Dr. A Biju, Principal, MES Asmabi College. Dr. K P Sumedhan , Director Self financing departments has given felicitation to the program. Mr. Lathif Penath , HoD, Dept of Psychology has delivered a talk on “Why do people romanticize Suicide” at 2.30 pm. After the talk , an interdepartmental mime competition was conducted in which the department of Aquaculture has secured first prize and Department of Psychology has secured second prize. Ms. Minsila Hilal, Coordinator of Mental Health Club & Asst.Prof , Dept of Psychology has delivered vote of thanks.
