OBC Cell
The OBC Cell of MES Asmabi College is dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of students from Other Backward Communities (OBC), particularly those who are socially, educationally, and financially disadvantaged. The cell functions in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and focuses on ensuring equity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all. As a specialized support system within the campus, the OBC Cell actively works towards the upliftment and grievance redressal of OBC students. It organizes various initiatives such as career advancement programs, motivational sessions, and scholarship awareness activities to support their academic and personal growth.
The institution recognizes the OBC community as a vital pillar of its student population. Since a significant number of students belong to these communities, their educational empowerment remains a key priority of the college. In this context, the OBC Cell plays a pivotal role in fulfilling the institution’s mission by fostering an inclusive environment where every student has access to opportunities for success.
