Equal Opportunity Cell

The Equal Opportunity Cell also plays a key role in promoting equal access to academic resources, student support services, and campus facilities. It works towards ensuring transparency and fairness in admissions, scholarships, and other institutional processes. Through its initiatives, the Cell strives to build a campus culture where diversity is respected and every individual is given the opportunity to grow and succeed. Since its inception, the Cell has been actively working to create an inclusive campus environment by addressing issues related to discrimination and inequality. It focuses on implementing the guidelines issued by the UGC, MHRD, and the Government of Kerala from time to time, ensuring that all institutional practices reflect the values of equity and justice.

Objectives

To promote an inclusive environment that ensures equal opportunities for all students and staff, irrespective of their social, economic, or cultural background.

To prevent discrimination and ensure fair treatment within the institution.

To create awareness about rights, responsibilities, and policies related to equality and inclusion.

To ensure effective implementation of government and UGC guidelines related to equal opportunity.

To provide support and guidance to students in accessing academic resources, scholarships, and welfare schemes.

To encourage holistic development by facilitating participation in academic, cultural, and career-oriented activities.
