Overview
Established in 2015, with Sri. Lathif Penath being the founder Head of the department, the Department of Psychology at MES Asmabi College, P. Vemballur, was founded with a mission to meet the evolving needs of society by shaping highly competent mental health professionals. Under the leadership of Experienced Faculties , the department has grown into a hub for both academic excellence and social responsibility.
The department currently offers a comprehensive Four-Year Honours Degree in Psychology. Our curriculum is designed not only to provide theoretical depth but also to ensure students become effective mental health allies from the very start of their professional journey.

Vision
The undergraduate course on BSc psychology enable the students to learn the scientific principles of behavior and mental processes, to make significant contributions to the science and practice of psychology. It lays a foundation to produce professionals who serve the local, national, and global communities in near future.
Mission
