Established in 1968 as one of the college's foundational pillars, the Department of Hindi at MES Asmabi College has evolved into a center for Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education in alignment with NEP 2020 standards. Serving a vibrant coastal community, the department transcends traditional language teaching by integrating 21st-century skills and Vocational Proficiency into its curriculum, which spans classical literature, contemporary issues, and functional linguistics. By fostering an interdisciplinary approach, the department empowers students from diverse backgrounds to develop critical thinking and creative talents, bridging the gap between local socio-cultural spaces and national identity.
